A dedicated centre for Astronomy takes a journey down the ages of the attempt to crack the mysteries of the Universe from Stonehenge to contemporary observatories

The C.V. Raman Centre for Basic Astronomy provides a 6 day Astronomy course and training in basics of night sky observation and astronomy

  • ·      Priyadarshini Plantetarium

181 sweater Sky theatre matching global standards with its GM II star projector to project every particulate that can be seen by the human eye. The projector can recreate the night sky anywhere on the earth 12, 500 years ago or 12, 500 years from now

  There’s a daily show on the telescope

Anyone interested in finding out how a ham radio looks and works can head to the Ham Radio Station every Thursday and Friday when they can listen in to licensed Ham users

There are 11” Autotracking Telescopes with GPS facility for examining the night sky.
